Sai Ravela directs the Earth Signals and Systems Group at the Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at MIT. His research interests includes developing pattern theory for coherent structures, fluid imaging, cooperative autonomous observing systems design, stochastic systems and animal biometrics. Dr. Ravela holds a PhD in Vision, Robotics and Information Retrieval from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and postdoctoral training in Stochastic Systems and Geophysical Fluids. He is the co-founder of E5 Aerospace LLC and Windrisktech LLC, and has published over 100 research articles and papers.
