ISROMAC 17
Keynote speaker - plenary session

Zhigang Zuo
Department of Thermal Engineering, Tsinghua University, China

Zhigang Zuo received his MSc degree from Tsinghua University in 2002 (major in Fluid Machinery and Engineering), and his PhD degree from Warwick University (UK) in 2008 (major in Fluid Mechanics). He now works in the State Key Lab of Hydroscience and Engineering, and Department of Thermal Engineering, Tsinghua University. His main research interests include a) bubble dynamics, especially involving the interaction between a laser-induced cavitation bubble and a free-settling particle (published in Physical Review Letters), which will be presented this time; b) cavitation with thermal effects; c) instabilities in fluid machinery, e.g., passive control of hydrofoil stall with biomimetic method, the "S" characteristics and positive slopes in pump-turbines, etc. d) heart pump.
